The Sign Hunt

We have been learning about verbal and non-verbal forms of communication. Yesterday Josh, Will and Tom took photos of signs on the Junior side and the Senior side of the school. They took the photos for a photostory to put in our assembly next week on Friday. Signs are important because they are a non-verbal way of communicating messages. Do you know where those signs are located and what some of their messages mean?

  1. Well done Room 15. A very interesting Photo Story! I was interested in the way that colour is sometimes used to attract our attention or warn us of danger. It is also interesting to note the way that symbols are used in some signs, so that even if you don't speak English you can still get the message!
