Today our class went into groups and brainstormed what we thought Participating and Contributing meant to us. We are going to use this information to help us create our own goals for term 3. During the term we will be learning about "Communication" and this goal will help us when we work together.
Here is a wallwisher with our ideas.

Garden to Table
This week was our first "Garden to Table" for term 3. Our class was split into two groups, one group went and worked in the garden, even though it was really wet with Mrs Masters and the other group worked in the kitchen making herb pikelets, silverbeet dip and kumera au gratin with Mrs Slyvester. This was my first "Garden to Table" afternoon and I was very impressed with the amazing gardeners and chefs that were in room 15, they certainly were experts and I am looking forward to our next "Garden to Table" in two weeks.
Some of the students have created their first photostory, we hope you enjoy it, I think they have worked extremely hard and have used very clear voices.
Thanks
Mrs P

One Dozen Monkeys
In music we listened to the song "One Dozen Monkeys". Some of us auditioned to sing the song for our school assembly. Miss Smol asked us what instruments we could hear in the song and what was the purpose of the song. Here is a video of "One Dozen Monkeys" can you answer Miss Smol's questions.

Blogging in Room 15
Hi Everyone
School holidays have been real busy for me as I have moved into my new classroom at Meadowbank Primary School. I am really excited about meeting the room 15 students and I hope they will enjoy creating and sharing what they are learning about on our new blog, as much as I have enjoyed creating it for them.
Happy postings and comments.
